• "Where are we going?" Lily finally asked when Asher had been driving for a while now and was yet to divulge where they were going to.
• He glanced at her with a playful smile on his face before he turned back to the road ahead, shrugging. "You'll see."
• Lily wanted to probe further, but quickly decided against it. Why spoil her surprise? She sniffled the flowers again and sighed in contentment. They smell so freaking good. She has never gotten flowers before, she thought they'd have a musty earthy smell, but this smelt nothing like that. It smelt good.
