• As soon as the sun set in the sky, Lily immediately tapped Liam awake to inform him that they were leaving for Paris, immediately.
• She had maintained a happy face throughout yesterday, despite the doom that was lurking over her head, just so she wouldn’t ruin her mother and father’s happy day, but the day was over. She had spent the entire night reading the news that kept popping up, and drafting plans to help manage the situation, which she was yet to fully understand the gravity of till she goes back to Paris.
• “Do we really have to leave so early just because of that?” Liam asked, fake yawning and rubbing his eyes. He was aware of Lily’s pacing throughout the night, but he pretended to be deeply asleep as he enjoyed the show. At a point he even considered secretly recording her, just so he could show Charlotte later on, but he had no means to do that at the moment.
