• Helplessness clouded Lily’s gaze as she watched the officers pack things out of her office. She knew she wasn’t involved in any case of tax evasion, but she was too tired and too stunned to defend herself against them so she chose to watch.
• About half an hour later, her office was practically cleared out and so was half of her company, for something that she had zero knowledge about.
