• Lily’s eyes went to the door then back at the phone and she swiped across the screen and placed it on her ear. Alicia’s voice flooded her ears immediately and lily’s eyes widened. “I have done as you instructed sir, the evidence is on its way to the police station, they should get it in an hour or so through the mail man.”
• Lily’s hand immediately flew over her mouth to muffle the sobs that were threatening to escape. She thought a lot of things and suspected a lot of people but she never suspected Alicia, never Alicia.
• “Are you there, sir?” She asked when she got no response after delving the information and Lily immediately ended the call as a sob rippled out of her throat. With shaky hands, she went to the call log and deleted the call before she slid down the bed and covered her face with the cover as tears slid down the corners of her eyes.
