- I grabbed onto the headrest of the seat in front of me so that I could hoist myself up, only to see Roy throwing the brick aside. He reached his arm through the smashed window and unlocked the car door from within.
- I was aware of how disheveled and miserable I looked right now, and I knew he was looking at me with disgust. However, when I laid eyes on him, my determination to cling onto my senses wavered, and my repressed urges were bubbling up to the surface. I was this close to pouncing onto him.
