Chapter 19 The Threads Of Loyalty

• I woke up from my trance as I heard Jason call my name and shake me gently. I probably was lost in thoughts again. I began to think back on how we'd become distant. I thought our friendship would never end. It hadn't ended really; it was just one-sided now. I was the only one who tried my best to rekindle our friendship from old. The funniest part is how I can't remember where it all went wrong, I couldn't recall us ever really arguing or fighting over something that could have caused us to drift. It bothered me that I was losing my childhood friend and it was more disturbing whenever I realized that our friendship and bond were weakening by the day to an irrecoverable point. What if I couldn't remedy our situation? What if I couldn't make things right between us?
