Chapter 54 Who Is He

• Brendan’s POV
• Sneaking out of the resistance when I am not supposed to has always been easy for me. I know Paris has always wanted to keep us safe so we have curfew and we are only allowed to wander out of the underground on certain days, but I needed to do something. My plan was to sneak into the alpha’s mansion like I used to when I worked there undercover as a guard. I wanted to get Olive back no matter what and I wanted to somehow make Serena pay for killing a member of the resistance.
• But as I left the resistance a day ago, I was kidnapped. A bag was thrown over my head and I was hit so hard in the back of my neck that I passed out. I don’t know how many hours it has been. Maybe it has been days or even weeks, but as I open my eyes, a searing headache instantly attacking me, I am blinded by the bright lights in my face, not allowing me to see any other thing in front of me.
