Chapter 24 The Predator

• Lucian’s POV
• My father didn’t want to waste any more time. Right now, we’re in a car driving to the rogue faction to kill Serena’s parents. We only have a few more minutes until we reach the depressing community. Aria insisted on coming with us and my father was quite pleased to hear that but I know the only reason Aria is coming with us is for petty reasons.
• She knows she almost lost me to Serena and that her position with me was only hanging on by a thread, so she’s coming to make sure that I actually do what my father wants me to. I had some time to rethink my actions, to decide whether or not I actually want to do this and although every nerve, every instinct in my body is telling me not to; although my wolf has been howling in pain inside me since Serena left, I cannot back down now.
