• I haven’t been able to get any sleep after what Brendan told me yesterday. I felt like a knife had been plunged into my chest and right now I feel like my world is turning upside down. I realized that I know nothing about what I truly am. I know nothing about werewolves because every single day, I learn something new that blows my mind.
• I knew that my life was in danger because of Lucian’s father and now I’m just finding out that a group of insane rogues think that sacrificing me will raise the shadow fell alpha from wherever he is. I had never heard of the shadow fell alpha until I met Lucian. I knew that the rogues were hated by the alpha, I knew that the alpha picked a rogue at random to sacrifice after every five years but I never knew why we were being killed.
