• Serena’s POV
• When I wake up, my head feels like it’s about to fall off my shoulders. I jerk up in bed and take in my surroundings. I’m in a room I’ve never seen before. My chest rises and falls in fear but my body feels relieved that it is no longer on the cold floors of the cell Paris and Brendan threw me in.
• The memories of the past few days flood my mind and my heart is immediately filled with so much hurt and pain that I can hardly breathe. The tossed me in a dark cell like I was nothing. I remember Lucian and his friend Reece in the cell with me. I remember falling and I remember Lucian’s hands on me and the rest of my memories are blurry.
