• I felt the mate bond today, and it was the most incredible thing I had ever felt. I’ve heard stories about it. I’ve heard about how beautiful and amazing it is supposed to feel and all the stories were true. Ryke, the future gamma of the blood moon pack is my mate and today is simultaneously the happiest and worst day of my life.
• Happy because I found my mate and he’s so handsome that it hurts to look at him. However, the day is horrible because my mate hates Serena, and she happens to be my friend. Ryke wasn’t too happy about the fact that I am a rogue wolf. I half expected him to reject me when he found out about it but he pleaded with the alpha to make an exception for him and surprisingly, the alpha did. He said it was a reward for Ryke not being a traitor like his son.
• The mate bond has to be one of the strongest things I have ever felt. I know Ryke is an evil person. I’ve already figured that out by spending just a few minutes with him, but the bond and what I feel for him doesn’t care about that. I can’t help it. I want him and I want him to want me too.
