Chapter 98 Attempted Murder (Ninety Eight)
- Logan lowered his window, staring at the simple minimalist-style two-story house painted in light brown. There was a small yard in front of the house overgrown with summer flowers. The courtyard had a low wooden fence separating it from the sidewalk in front of it. But, beside the house, Logan could see a closed courtyard which was wide enough to just relax and enjoy the warm summer sun. Logan could imagine Riley sitting on a chaise longue, basking in the sun for an exotic tan. She would be completely naked, without clothes, and only pale skin scorched by the sun. Incredibly sexy!
- When someone came out of the house with a cell phone slung over her shoulder, Logan rolled up his car window and smirked. Riley just got into her car. A silver Mazda that was very fitting for a woman like her. So, had Riley been living well these three years in South Carolina? Riley left him with all his anger and frustration, while she was having fun there with her new life.
- Logan snorted sarcastically. His eyes followed Riley's car which was moving further and further away. Logan then stepped on the gas pedal slowly and followed where Riley went. They had the same destination, right? His heart was pounding with anticipation. He imagined what Riley would look like when they met later. Does Riley still remember me? Will Riley be afraid of me?
