Chapter 86 So Stupid (Eighty Six)

• Unlike her expectations a few days ago, tonight she returned to Logan's mansion feeling lethargic and exhausted. Mentally tired, of course. She was physically fit that day because she was allowed to go home from a place that she found very disturbing. Coming home had been her wish since days ago. But, Logan had ruined her enthusiasm for returning home. His words this morning kept ringing in her mind and she was disappointed.

• The first time Riley saw the new man was the driver who picked them up at the hospital. Then, when they arrived at the house, the new gatekeeper—whose face was completely foreign to her, opened the gate wide for them. As they were about to get off, two men Riley had never seen came to help Logan out of the car. They waited outside the car door, their bodies very stiff and straight. It was like their first day working with Logan, and they were trying not to make any mistakes.
