Chapter 62 Back To Logan's Trap (Sixty Two)
- Riley sat in a rocking chair with a fiction book in her lap. An hour ago, Roberto had left her to check on one of his patients after he was picked up by a worried-looking young man with curly blond hair. His mother had diabetes. He said his condition was a little critical because his mother suddenly felt weak. Roberto said it was true. Sometimes someone picked him up to check on their sick family or relatives.
- Tired of being left alone, Riley decided to drag the rocking chair from the living room into Logan’s room. Roberto said Logan would wake up as soon as the effect of the medicine wore off. But Logan didn't wake up as quickly as Roberto had predicted.
- Logan didn't show any movement while Riley sat in the rocking chair to watch him. She'd read half the book of fiction about the Greek gods, and Logan still showed no sign of waking up. Riley was tired of sitting there for hours without doing anything. She then took off her shoes and took the small chip that she hadn't taken out from under her sole since she left Logan's house.
