Chapter 10 Logan's Determination (Ten)

• "How is she?"
• Logan was thrown from his seat like he had a spring in his ass as Wren came out of the ER, and three nurses pushed Riley’s gurney behind him. Riley closed her eyes peacefully. There was no expression of pain on her face anymore, though her face was pale and missing the blush he had seen all day. One of Riley's hands rested on her stomach, an IV needle was stuck in it, and it was slightly wrinkled from the cold air in the ER. But so far, Riley's condition was better than when he took her to the hospital a few minutes ago. At least he could relax a little now that Riley had been treated by the medics.
• When Logan turned back to the emergency room door, another doctor appeared, gave some orders to the three nurses, then he joined Wren who was standing in front of Logan.
