Chapter 109 Beating Up Riley (Hundred Nine)
- Traveling to New York by commercial plane was not as easy as flying by private jet. The first time Riley went to the airport to buy a commercial plane ticket, she had to queue very long behind people who were busy with their own business. Most of them come with suitcases or large bags. Only she came with a small purse and an impatient face because she wanted to get to New York as soon as possible to meet her son. But this was definitely not her lucky day, the plane to New York would leave at about eight fifteen at the earliest. She had to wait another two and a half hours with a mother of two toddlers who were fussy because they were getting tired.
- Riley really wished that she had a private jet so she wouldn't have to wait with the other passengers while listening to a toddler's cry that made her ears throb in pain. She imagined what if the toddler was Archer. Logan probably didn't have much patience with toddlers. Logan had a fickle temper. He had a short wick. He could suddenly get angry and do destructive things when the people around him messed with him.
- After a long, tense wait, the plane bound for New York finally took off at eight-fifteen. Two crying toddlers were no longer heard when they boarded the plane as they were already sleeping comfortably in their stroller. And Riley was grateful that commercial planes weren't so bad. No crying toddler on the plane. She sat next to a student who was busy with earphones and didn't make any sound that would disturb her.
