Chapter 9 The Beast's Deep Regret (Nine)
- Rough breaths erupted from his mouth and nostrils after he slammed her bedroom door with a bang. Anger was at the peak of his head, he felt like getting angry and exploded. At the end of the hall he saw Kaella standing by the railing, her face strained when she saw him staring at her. Then she walked hurriedly down the stairs with a tray and glasses in her hand. It was probably the pregnant milk that Riley was supposed to drink tonight. But his anger messed everything up. He made the girl cry again and be scared again. He turned into a monster again.
- Logan turned to Riley's bedroom door which had just been slammed. His anger felt irrational. He shouldn't have been so angry just because Riley was trying to be haughty in front of him. He could probably just ignore her and let her roam around until she was exhausted and then go to her room on her own. But he didn't let Riley do that. Instead of ignoring her arrogance and a hint of rebelliousness, he let out a tantrum that he shouldn't have. Their relationship is now back to zero again. The half percent progress they had made so far had vanished without a trace.
- Logan ruffled his hair in frustration. He walked away from Riley's room and swore loudly several times. Wren had mentioned his bad temper. He said he had to control his temper before deciding to have children. However, his temperament can disrupt the parenting pattern he will apply to his child later. But to hell with temperament. He wouldn't have gotten this angry if there wasn't someone to trigger his short wick. He had always been used to his explosive temper. It was the only thing he could do to intimidate those who would look down on him or depose him from the throne he currently holds. He was able to survive this far because of his bad temper. He scares people with his anger, and then they will bow down to him and he can grow the business his father left him into a bigger and more successful business.
