• When I get in the car I give Reyna a look of surprise. I’d would have bet money she would have been protesting against this. She’s not the type to just agree. “You seem awfully quiet.”
• “Well I figured protesting my dislike for shopping or the idea of trying on clothes in public would probably just go in one of your ears and straight out the other.” She gives me a look like she already hates this and I just love it. She knows I won’t listen. She’s learning fast. “Like I said in one ear and out the other.”
• “We can skip the trying on clothes in public, but at least just pick a few dresses out. We won’t be the only party we’d be attending. I have a business party coming up in a month will be attending as well as a masked gala. So you’ll need a few dresses for the occasions. So just pick a good amount out. And I won’t have to drag you to grab more any time soon.”
