• I watched her as she drifted off. I stayed my distance because she seemed to be lost in thought. I noticed how she didn’t turn a single page in her book for quite some time. And considering how fast she reads it only told me she wasn’t reading it.
• That little comment she made. And how she said it. I felt it in her tone. That what we’re doing is only our duties of wife and husband. And that hurt her. I didn’t think it would bother her. Mark and Grant told me she’d probably have feelings for me. But I truly thought. Reyna. Never would. She’s not like my friends wives. So I just figured she’d never fall for me. Not that she has. But clearly something’s bothering her. And it has to do with me and her. I just don’t know what it is.
