Chapter 106 Big Boy

• By time I make it home I’m actually nervous. I have no idea how she’s feeling. Lucas has kept his messages vague, probably because Reyna didn’t want me knowing nothing. But he has kept me in the loop with knowing she’s doing okay. But that doesn’t tell me much truly. I push the front door open and head inside. The house seems empty. That is till the back door opens and in walks Reyna.
• Her eyes immediately lock with mines and then drift down to the bouquet in my hand. I watch her gulp before she wraps the towel in her hand around her body covering that bikini she’s wearing. The hesitation in her eyes speaks volumes, a concoction of emotions I can’t decipher. But then it’s like she closes them off. Shuts them away because her face turns blank.
