• Somehow the days we have plans in the evening the rest of the day just goes by like a blur. This morning went by so quickly I was surprised when Mason told me we’d been leaving in the next hour. I hardly realized the time. I spent all morning with Mason. We laid in bed for a good amount. Honestly I woke up well before him and just watched him sleep. I’ve missed waking up next to him. I didn’t realize that until he didn’t come home and I was left all alone every morning. Walking to an empty bed. I hated it.
• So when I woke up I took advantage of him sleeping and watched him for a bit. Though somehow he felt me staring and smiled in his sleep before opening one eye to look at me. But he didn’t say anything. He just stretched and leaned over to give me a kiss on my forehead before heading downstairs. Where we spent a good amount of the morning playing pool, checkers and chess. Though chess has always been a bit hard for me. I lost every match we played.
