Chapter 55 A Toy Of Sorts

• “I will NOT be divorcing Reyna.” Mason says and all three jaws drop and I have to try hard not to smile at the pleasure I’m feeling. “The fact that you come into my home and expect to disrespect my wife and in front of me and get away with it shows just how stupid you three truly are. And you’re lucky I don’t have all three of your heads for speaking about my wife like that in front of me. But because of something that came to my attention recently I think it wouldn’t be fair if I took the liberty of such things.”
• He turns to me and smiles. His eye darts down to my pocket and back to my eyes and I smile. My turn. My hand goes into my pocket and finger grazes over the button. I already moved the dial up to two. And right when I see my uncle open his mouth to say something I press down.
• All three jerk in place. And I smile.
