Carla couldn't help but let out a soft snicker at their naive hope. It was about time they came to terms with the harsh reality that Winona wouldn't be returning to them. Carla had already made plans to end her life before she could be found. Alpha Noel was hers, and she had no intention of sharing him with anyone else.
"Good morning, Alpha Noel," a voice echoed in the room, interrupting her thoughts.
Carla paused in her actions when she recognized the voice of the person she had been consciously trying to avoid.
