• Even though Noel was eager to see Winona, he realized he needed a bath more urgently. They had been driving all night without stopping, and the road had been incredibly dusty.
• When he reached the door of his chamber, he paused for a moment in front of Winona's room. He thought about preparing the executives for her coronation as the Luna. He disliked the idea of them having separate rooms. He wanted to have access to her at any time without the barrier of a door. He would ask Lucy to prepare Winona for the coronation, after all, the entire pack already knew she was his mate. It was just a matter of formally announcing her as Luna to give her the rightful status by his side.
• One thing, however, was troubling him - her wolf. He wondered why it had remained silent after the day it had helped him. What could be the problem? What was keeping it silent? He was eager to learn more about her wolf and see if there was any way to bring it out like every other wolf.
