Chapter 46

• Upon his return from the forest, his beta, Kevin, was waiting with a fresh set of clothes. Noel quickly changed into them before heading to his office to begin his workday. He worked diligently, his mind occasionally drifting to Winona, who might be waiting for him. As the day wore on and dinner time approached, he quickly wrapped up his last task, leaving the rest for Kevin to handle. Kevin shot him a glare, understandably upset about the mountain of work that might keep him up all night.
• Noel didn't mind. He needed to see his mate tonight. He didn't know how long he would be away on his outstation work. His own workload might also keep him up all night!
• The driver took him to the palace entrance. He had to restrain himself from running inside. As he reached the passage leading to their rooms, he encountered Winona and his sister, Luzy, on their way to the dining room.
