• "No, no, no, you can't just give up on her like this. There must be something else, something more you can do..." Eden implored Margaret, her voice laced with desperation. "Please, do anything, anything at all that might save her. I'm begging you...."
• Margaret looked at Eden, sweat dripping from her grey hair down to her face, which she wiped away with the back of her arm. "I can see clearly why the hospital gave up on her. The truth is, I am doing everything within my power to fight for her, but I don't think she herself wants to fight anymore..."
