Divina's eyes bulged in disbelief at the Moon Goddess's cruel jest. What was the meaning of this outrageous twist of fate? She was so consumed by anger that she found herself unable to utter the word she was expected to.
Her gaze darted to where Alpha Jace Brown was standing, and what she saw shattered her heart into countless fragments. This couldn't possibly be true! Perhaps she should close her eyes and open them again!
She did just that, but the scene before her remained unchanged! She was utterly heartbroken and seething with anger. How could the Moon Goddess do this to her?
