• "I still don't understand why you felt compelled to involve yourself in this girl's affairs, Eden. You don't even know her," her neighbor remarked.
• Eden looked at her with an expression of exhaustion. If it weren't for the fact that she needed her neighbor's help at this moment, she wouldn't be tolerating her sassy remarks. Ironically, her neighbor was accusing her of meddling in affairs that didn't concern her, when that was practically her neighbor's favorite pastime.
