Chapter 128

• The night before the trial of Carla and Harold had arrived. Winona decided to visit Carla's cell, only to find her scraping the walls with her fingernails until they were almost completely worn away. Upon hearing footsteps, Carla turned and glared at her.
• "I was wondering when you were finally going to show up..." Carla said in an icy tone. She rose from the floor and walked towards the bars of her cell. She looked emaciated, as if she hadn't eaten in weeks.
• "I'm sure you came to see how miserable I am. Well, here you are. Is this good enough for you?!" Carla asked in a mocking tone, spreading her thin arms wide.
