• "Weep, my sunflower. Release your sorrow. Your tears are as sweet as your essence." He traced his lips over her cheeks, savoring her tears, which only provoked her to scream louder and shed more tears. "I possess you, firefly, the sooner you acknowledge that, the easier it will be."
• "Leave!" But Dylan shifted from atop her, only to draw her into his embrace, so that her face was nestled against his chest. She hid her face in his shirt, as he began to gently stroke her damp hair. She attempted to push herself away from him, but his grip was ironclad.
• "It's okay, release your emotions." He continued his comforting gestures.
