• Morning arrived, bringing with it a newfound resolve that surprised even Roselle. She quickly dressed and, after consuming a large cup of coffee and a croissant, she rushed out of her apartment. Today, she was determined to purchase her very first weapon.
• It was currently 8:00 am. She had two hours before her shift at the cafe began, ample time to acquire a gun for herself. Now, if Dylan tried to force her to go anywhere against her will, she was prepared to use him for target practice. No longer would Dylan - the deranged, monochromatic Mafia boss - be able to treat her like a helpless damsel. She was ready to fight fire with fire.
