Chapter 51

- The sun was shining, and there were a few clouds in the sky. Tapping the steering wheel to the rhythm of the song from the radio as she drove down the road. Zoe could see the cows long before she could see the 20th-century farmhouse. With a smile on her face, Zoe went into the dirt driveway of Rodger’s grandfather's farm. Stepping out, she spotted Rodger using his hat to slap the dust off his body. Closing the door, Zoe motioned her feet in the direction of Rodger, closing the gap between them.
- Chuckling, “I didn’t think I was going to see you until tomorrow morning!” Rodger said as he hugged Zoe.
