• ~ July 31st - 4:50 PM ~
• There was a thin glow of light over the horizon. The cabin grounds were in a complete shadow. With the remnants of the day slipping away. Sophia and Lance strolled back to the cabin. With their fingers intertwined and laughing at a memory that Sophia had mentioned. They slowed their pace as they reached the back of Zoe’s car, glancing around the peaceful surroundings. "That's odd!" Sophia had commented. As she did not hear the voices of their friends.
• Sophia had anticipated their friends’ return. As they all had been reminded by Zoe of the rules before they had split up. Wanting to enjoy the surroundings before dinner. But the only familiar face in sight was Ella, kneeling by the fire pit. She was flipping a juicy steak. Humming to herself with a smile on her face. “Hey, where is everybody?” Lance called out. Looking up at the sky, "There is an hour until dusk!" he looked back to Ella, "Give and take!"
