Chapter 25 Trick
- “Oh, look who’s here.” Danika gushed as she filed down the stairs in the Evangelista's villa, her heels clacking on the wooden floor.
- She plastered a satisfied grin on her face seeing Lucas waddle inside the villa with bags and she already knows they contain groceries.
- Danika knows just the right word to spit out and trigger Lucas to action. Her mother is a perfect tool she uses to make Lucas bow at her feet and she’s so willing to keep taunting him with her.
- “What do you have there in the bag?” She probed when she reached the last stair.
- Lucas already halted and was burning his fiery eyes on Danika. His jaw tightened as he gritted his teeth in sheer anger.
- Danika could feel his piercing gaze on her from the corner of her eyes but she cared less. She went ahead darting her hands on the bag to feel what was inside.
- She stopped when she confirmed her suspicions, then she craned her head sweeping her gaze at Lucas.
- “You really bought groceries!? Oh my God, Lucas. What spurred your lazy ass from bed and rush to the mall to get these?” She held Lucas’s gaze.
- At that moment, she couldn’t help fawning for his coffee brown eyes that glistened with anger. She descended her eyes on his lips and drooled at its strong pink color and the way they move when he gnashes his teeth.
- Seeing that made her nether throb and Danika squeezed her legs together to avoid further stirrings.
- Everything about Lucas arouses her and she hates how her body reacts whenever she sees him.
- Lucas gives no damn about her and yet she’s here drooling and yearning for his terrific touch.
- Danika’s face creased in a smile, she rubbed her hand on Lucas’s broad chest, feeling his skin under her palms, “are you being reticent now? Or are you shy to accept the truth, Lucas?” She asked, slinging his nipples between her fingers.
- Lucas could feel his body trying to respond to her touch but it took all his shred of strength to douse the hunger rising inside him.
- “What truth are you talking about? Listen Danika…I’m doing this because I needed to. There’s nothing in the house so I needed to fill it up. This is literally your work as a woman, but you’re so useless that getting your fucking ass to shop is impossible. So don’t think in doing this for any other purpose.” Lucas blurted, gulping the lump of spittle that clogged his throat.
- Immediately after blurting these, he edged away from Danika , heading toward the kitchen when Danika’s words made him stop.
- “I know exactly why you’re doing this, Lucas.” She scoffed, folding her arms against her chest. “You want to continue gaining favors from us. After all, we are your savior.” Danika ambled close to Lucas’s back.
- She placed her hand at his broad shoulders, patting it gently but Lucas’s was already fraying with rage and disgust.
- “I can make or mar you, Lucas Evangelista.” Danika said, making Lucas freeze on his spot. Looking at the side of his head, you could see bones that popped out because of how hard he gnashed his teeth
- “I can bring happiness to your poor soul and I can make this reminders of growth in the Evangelistas life douse. Lucas you only have me to rely on. Every word I say to my mother will be done. So tell me, how will you achieve your goals if you don’t mellow yourself?” Danika continued taunting him.
- “Danika enough!” Lucas ranted. He whirled around to face her. “I’m doing what’s right to keep my own end of the bargain but you saying this makes it look like I do nothing. Danika you woke me up, requesting for something to bite on and I went out to get something like you demanded and yet you’re here saying shits I don’t know?”
- Lucas was breathing very heavily now that anger has welled up inside him. They held their gaze for what seemed like hours before Danika snapped into laughter.
- “Hahaha…poor Lucas. I just wanted to hear you say it. I wanted to hear you spew and admit you left to buy these for me and you fucking did it. Gosh! It’s so easy to freak you out!” She laughed some more, clamping her hand on her stomach to control her laughter.
- Lucas’s forehead scrunched up.
- How could he not understand that Danika was merely taunting him? How could he fall for her gimmicks.
- Well, he couldn’t lash out much on himself because he doesn’t know when Danika is being serious or not.
- He hates to admit it but Danika has him in her fingertips.
- Lucas hopes to break free from her clutches soon.
- Once the new leader of the Monson group accepts his propoal.
- Snorts, Lucas writhe his head, “I don’t have your time Danika.” He turned back on his heels to head to the kitchen but heard Danika stomping her feet toward the exit.
- “And where the hell are you heading to?” His baritone voice made Danika squelch, rolling her eyes she responded curtly.
- “I’m off. For a day or two. Can’t spend this weekend with an asshole like you.”
- Lucas smirked. She being away is the best. At least he'll have the time to gather his thoughts together without hassle.
- Lucas didn’t sprinkle another word as he turned and headed to the kitchen where he handed the bags to the servants.
- The servants already know they both argue a lot so whenever their hot bickering starts they dare not come outside.
- Danika on the other hand, headed out of the building to the party she fixed with her high class friends.
- Lucas headed to his room afterward with thoughts about Sia Still reeling in his mind.
- It’s slowly getting dark outside when Lucas looked outside his ground to ceiling glass window. The city lights were streaming into the dark room.
- He ambled to the window, looking outside while her images flooded his mind.
- *
- “I love you a lot, Lucas.”
- “You do? Why? Tell me why you love me La Mia donna.” Lucas asked, the corner of his eyes wrinkled as he smiled, pulling Sia to his chest.
- When she plastered her head on his hairy chest, she said, “because you truly love me for who I am. You don’t fake your for feelings for me.” She paused, snorting.
- “Sometimes I feel scared that maybe one day you'll find out you made the wrong choice of a girl because I have nothing to offer you. I’m just a poor street girl. But you are the popular heir of the Evangelista family.”
- She buried her head deep in his chest as Lucas stroke her hair.
- “Lucas, you love me don’t you? You aren’t faking your feelings for me, right? You won’t break my heart, right?” She anxiously asked.
- Lucas let in a sharp indrawn of breath as he pulled Sia from his chest to look into her eyes.
- “La Mia donna.” He called, thumbing Sia's rough cheeks. He inched closer and scooped her lips with his in a gentle, light kiss.
- “I love you for who you’re. And until forever I promise to never hurt you. To never leave you. When I saw you for the first time I knew I saw a gem that deserves to be cherished. I knew there and then you’re my woman.” He paused, placing his forehead on hers.
- They bored into each other’s eyes, exchanging their breath. The air around then sizzled as their feeling for one another surfaced.
- “I didn’t make the wrong choice of a partner, Sia. You’re my greatest desire. With you I feel whole.” He kissed the tip of her nose and they both beamed.
- “You promise to love me no matter what? “ Sia asked.
- “No matter the circumstances Sia Macalista I’ll stand by you and I'll love you. I love you to the moon.” He emphasized.
- “Then show me, Lucas. Show me how much you love me. I want to feel it deep inside me and on my skin. Prove to me you’re willing to love me to the moon.” Before she could finish, Lucas drew her close and swooped his lips down on hers, diving deep into her mouth with his tongue.
- Then from the window couch they seated on he spooned her up in his arms and carried her to his bed where he proved his love for her.
- *
- “Fuck!” Lucas cussed feeling the softness of her lips ring in his mind. The sponginess of her pussy when he dipped his hand inside her and the sweetness and warmth of her skin when he was atop her.
- He loved her and he still does. He yearns to explain things to her. He yearns to have her back in his life, but that can never happen again. He thought.
- He felt his cock slowly hardening, thus he placed his hand on his groin slowly kneading it on top of his pants.
- That’s exactly the same spot they were the day he made this promise her. So he felt as though it’s happening right this moment. He remembered how Sia moaned his name when he had her and how she promised to make him proud to have her one day.
- “I still love you, Sia. I fucking do!” He groped his cocked as he slid his hand beneath his pants, rubbing it fiercely.
- Lucas’s phone rang and he dart his eyes around to see where it is. Then he saw it blinking on the bed. Still holding his cock on his hand, he shuffled to the bed and took the phone.
- Swiping the receiver tab he spoke.
- “Hello.”
- The hunger building up inside him made his voice muffled.
- “Lucas!” A woman’s voice emerged from the other end of the line.
- “Yeah!” He said in a muffled manner , still massaging his rod. Small sounds of pleasure left his lips.
- “Jesus…what’s wrong with you, Lucas!?” He heard the person from the other end yelp. Just then Lucas’s mind recollected.
- “Grand…Grandma!?” He called out.
- “Yes Lucas!” His grandmother shouted.
- Lucas and his maternal grandmother has been in close affinity since his parents death when he was a teen. He once lived with her until his uncle told him to move back to the Evangelista’s villa and learn how things are done because he’s the heir.
- “Wait a minute. What were you doing?” His grandmother asked.
- “Uh…nothing grandma. I was just…nothing it’s nothing really.” He snapped.
- “Ouuu…I feel you’re lying, Lucas. Were you doing it? You were doing it right? Tell me, who were you doing it with?” She lowered her voice and asked. “I hope it’s not that mannerless Dinka girl?” She asked.
- “Danika grandma not Dinka.” Lucas softly corrected.
- “Dinka or Danik…whatever it is I don’t like that girl at all. She has no manners!” His grandma said, sounding annoyed.
- Danika disrespected her the day Lucas invited her over to the villa so she could see who he got engaged to.
- That day, the grandmother arrived with a heavy carryall and Lucas wasn’t there to help her and the servant was busy with other bags she came with.
- Danika trailed down the stairs and merely forced a greeting from her lips then she strode go the living room, ignoring the old woman.
- Lucas’s grandma got angry about Danika’s attitude and immediately she flared up, firing words at Danika that she'll make sure Lucas doesn’t marry her.
- “I know grandma. I can’t easily extricate myself from her. You won’t understand grandma let’s not talk about it.” He said wrying the topic.
- “Whatever. I just don’t want her to be the mother of my great grandchildren.” She said. Lucas could feel her pouting her lips at the moment.
- “Yes grandma. I’ve noted that. How are you?”
- “I’m bored.” She replied.
- “Bored? Thought you have a new boyfriend?” Lucas teased.
- “Lucas! He’s just my neighbor not my boyfriend.” She defended.
- “But you like him…isn’t it?”
- “Of course I do. He’s human. Stop thinking rubbish I’ve passed that age, okay?”
- “Aright, alright.” Lucas said, throwing his hands up. “You’re missing me?” he asked with soft smile on his face.
- “Yes boy. When will you visit?” she asked, pleading.
- “I can’t tell grandma. But I definitely will when my slates are free enough, okay?”
- “Okay.” She drawled.
- “Grandma. I’m going to send you some money this week. Just be a good girl. When I’m free I’ll visit you. Alright?”
- “Okay…” she pouted, drawling.
- “Alright, good night grandma.”
- “Good night son.”
- They said lastly before hanging up.
- Lucas sighed and slumped on the bed.
