Chapter 24 Threat
- “What are you doing here?” Sia’s voice bleeped, as cold as an icicle.
- “Didn’t you miss me? I came to see you, love. Who else would bring me here except you?” His eyes glued at Sia’s face.
- Sia hastily whirled around as she clipped her hands tightly on the rim of her towel so it wouldn’t fall off. Not when Silas is here.
- 🌹Ten Minutes Ago.🌹
- “Where's Sia?” Silas asked the Gateman, Mark, immediately after he slide out of his car, slamming the door shot behind him.
- “I have no Idea sir, she just came back. She might be in the dining eating.” The gateman responded, voice faltering.
- All the workers in the Monson villa fears Silas whenever he comes around. So once he questions them, they don’t waste time answering his questions.
- Even if they don’t know, they must say something even if it’s an assumption so as not to incur Silas’s rage.
- He tottered into the house and paused by the door fliting his eyes around.
- All the servants wobbly greeted him with their heads bowed.
- “Where’s Sia?” He asked again, striding to dinning.
- “She was here some minutes ago, sir.” They answered unanimously.
- Silas didn’t see Sia when he stormed into the dining but he perceived an aroma whiffing from the kitchen, hence he strolled in there.
- He spotted Michelle cleaning the counter top and stuffing what he presumed to be Lasagna in a Tupperware.
- “Old woman.” He called.
- Startled, Michelle shrieked and turned around to see Silas tottering toward her.
- She gritted her teeth in a fit of pique, boring her eyes into his.
- Michelle has this inkling that Silas is a bad guy and consequent to that, she developed strong resentment toward him.
- “Where’s Sia?” He asked, tilting Michelle’s chin upward with his finger.
- “I…I…”
- Being gripped by a suffocating sense of dread, Michelle’s voice wavered. She sucked in a quick rush of air, trying to mollify her erratically beating heart.
- “She’s in her room.” She gushed out speedily.
- Silas grinned and turned to leave before he heard Michelle rasp out.
- “She’s getting a massage, Mr. Silas.”
- Silas stopped in his tracks and spun around, with an evil smile playing on his lips, he said, “that’s perfect. Perfect timing.”
- Then he dashed off the kitchen and headed to Sia’s room.
- **
- “Silas, if I were you I wouldn’t step foot into this house ever again.” Sia mouthed with cocked brow.
- “Why not, love? So you wouldn’t jinx me like you did to my brother? Believe me Sia your jinx would never have effect on me. “ Silas smirked, wagging his eyebrows.
- Hearing that word from him made Sia utterly angry. She then remembered the news she read.
- “Silas you’ve become so jobless that you know have the time to share your family’s business with the media. Poor thing…keep hanging your hopes on a rope. But trust me, everything about you and every other member of the Monson family now lies in the palm of my hand…” Sia craned her right hand and waved it in front of Silas.
- However, that comment triggered Silas’s rage, he fiercely gripped Sia’s jaw, tightening his hand on it, imposing pains on her.
- He burned his eyes on hers and Sia felt heat building up insides her. Her confidence hung on a thread.
- *
- “You look so scared Sia.” Silas spat, edging closer to Sia on the bed where she curled up with her legs drawn close to her chest and she wrapped her arms on her kneecap, dreading the sight of him.
- The abuse has become so unbearable. And Sia couldn’t take it any longer so yesterday after Silas left the villa Sia picked up the courage to divulge it to Mr. Monson.
- Immediately after she exposed to the truth to light. Mr. Monson wasted no time in flying back to Florida.
- Silas’s best chance in abusing Sia is whenever Mr. Monson travels out of town.
- When he arrived at the villa, he placed Silas on a call.
- But then Sia knew she made a hell of a mistake and that’s ever telling Monson Silas abuses her because right there and then, Silas not only denied it but called for an emergency family meeting saying that Monson accuses him of molesting his wife.
- Sia doesn’t know how it happened but the case ended up in Silas’s favor.
- A month after that altercation, Mr. Monson traveled out of the country and Silas came back.
- “You’re scared because you of what you did?” He asked, just then he gripped her jaw harshly, parting Sia’s teeth as he pinched her jaw. Pains ricocheted through her body at the fierce impact.
- “You disobeyed me by informing Monson but you forgot that I have this family in my palm Sia and I’ll always end up getting favored instead of arraigned.” He grabbed a fistful of Sia’s hair with his other hand. He quickly tilt her head as he dragged her hair.
- “Ahhh…Silas please have mercy. It won’t happen again I promise…” Sia trailed off with misty eyes.
- “I’m afraid, I’ve to keep to my word. The only mercy I’ll show you is this…” He unclasped Sia’s hair and groped her breast vigorously, rubbing her nipples with intense force.
- Sia winced and began to feel water drift from her eye.
- “For ever disobeying my instructions, Sia you'll pay gravely…” Silas extricated himself from Sia and began fumbling with his belt.
- Sia heard the metallic rattling of his belt and dreaded. She already knows what he’s about doing, hence she skittered from the bed, and hastened for the door.
- “Where do you think you’re going Sia...?” Silas’s voice boomed in the room.
- Sadly, no one outside will ever know what’s happening in there even if Sia screams her lungs out.
- Unfortunately for Sia, she tripped off when her feet brushed against the water that littered the floor. Sia dropped the glass of water she was drinking when she saw Silas emerge in the room.
- When she fell down, she hit her chest on the sharp edge of dresser drawer and blood oozed out, pains shot through Sia’s body. The shards of glass burrowed deep into her knees.
- Notwithstanding her sudden fall, Silas reached toward her, tore her dress into shreds. Her body exposed under the jasmine colored light of the room. He feasted his eyes on it, sipped his lips as he fisted his belt.
- He reached forward and lashed the leather of his belt on Sia’s body. A long stretch of pain lined her breast down to her stomach.
- He basked in her winces.
- Sia wailed in pain. Whimpered in despair as Silas inexorably whooped her with his belt. Then he yanked her off the floor to the bed where he rashly thrust himself inside her, hitting every corner of her wall.
- *
- Sia swallowed the lump of spittle on her throat as her mind riveted back to that particular day. The way Silas gripped her jaw now reminds her of that gory day.
- One of the days Sia wish to never remember.
- Right now, she determined not to let Silas know he's winning by scaring her, making her past to paint itself on her present.
- Sia chuckled and slapped Silas’s hand off her face. She stood up and brush past him, heading into the room.
- Silas’s anger kindles again, he rushed toward Sia and pushed her against the wall placing his hand on either side of her, entrapping her. The sudden impact made her whoop in shock as series of pain flood her body.
- Sia tried to spin around so she could bore her eyes in his but Silas chest was pressed against her back. His lips brush against the shell of her ear lightly and his breath fanned her nape as he whispered.
- “You don’t leave when I’m talking to you, Sia.” He snarled, biting the tip of her ear.
- Sia gritted her teeth tightly and chuckled.
- “Because you’re a God? The owner of my life? Huh?” she asked sardonically.
- “I'll soon own you Sia…” he said. Just then he lifted her right hand at her back, digging his thumb in her palm. “I'll have you at my mercy, Sia. You’ll long for freedom, for mercy, for it to end but I won’t grant it to you.”
- He smirked, and continued. “You feel that you’ve everything under your control but I’ll cut your wings and make you vulnerable again just watch.”
- He pressed his lips on her nape and Sia scrunched up her face in disgust.
- ‘Don’t listen to what he says. He’s just trying to scare you. Be strong Sia. Be strong.’ Her inner voice said, reassuring Sia that nothing will happen.
- “Get off me Silas Monson. Right this minute.” Her voice came out a low growl.
- Silas drew back , hanging his hands in the air. Then Sia whirled around.
- “No matter what you say to scare me, Silas. It won’t work on me again. Like I said before, I’m no longer that frail girl I was years ago. I’m a new Sia. A new Mrs. Monson.” Sia informed, tightening her lips.
- “I can see that, love. But it won’t take me much effort to break you. Subdue you as mine. And I’ll do it. Just watch out love.”
- Silas scooted to her, brushing his lips on her cheeks. “Be safe for now baby. From others. But always know you won’t be safe from me as far as this skirmishes goes on. Bye for now. Let’s leave the long sermon for another day.” He wheezed.
- Sia didn’t turn to see his ebbing figure but she heard the hard clomping of his feet on the floor.
- When she heard the door slam shut, Sia slumped on her bed, scared by Silas threat and aroused as she remembered Lucas’s hands on the small of her back.
