• Sia was on her hospital bed, basking in the morning sun that wiggled into the room while watching the news when Liam fluttered the door open and shoved into the room.
• Sia broke her gaze from the TV and rolled it over at Liam. A smile plucked at her lips when she saw him making a beeline toward her. Taking him in, she only saw the gauze wrapped on his forehead and ink poured on his cheek.
