• Michael’s POV
• Wolves don't just feel pain, we become it. Suddenly, my body was no longer mine. I knew something was wrong the second pain jolted into me and I lost control of the wheel. I’d just come back from the hospital, overseeing how things run in my absence. Katherine was my priority, but I was yet to hire a competent manager. Suddenly, I started to suffocate. Someone was choking me. Someone invisible.
• My muscles locked, and a gasp ripped from my throat. I let go of the wheel, scratching my neck.
