• Michael’s POV
• Alpha Wendal was dragged to the dungeons by James, kicking and screaming. I couldn’t care less about his fate right now, or what my brother would do to him. Katherine was lying on the bed, looking pale and lifeless. The back of her head had a wound that oozed blood, yet, she hadn’t healed. As a werewolf, she should’ve healed already.
• Jason paced the room impatiently, “Why isn’t she healing?” he demanded, his voice cracking as he wiped the blood from Katherine’s neck with shaky hands. I’d never seen Jason so scared. I, on the other hand, was trying to bottle my feelings so I could do my job. I’m a doctor, only I can help her. “She’s one of us! She should be fine by now!” Jason bellowed.
