Jason’s POV
I move with intent, taking long strides as Derrick guides us through the brick homes of my pack. The aroma of the pack’s market hits me initially, a blend of spices, baked bread, and wolves. The noises of conversation, joy, and metallic clanging together reverberate in the background, yet I hardly focus. My thoughts are concentrated on the current situation.
There’s an issue been bothering me for days, something I can't fully let go. My pack has been in chaos ever since discovering Katherine, and it's only deteriorating. The murmurs become stronger, the gossip more fervent. The pack has waited for me to find a mate for years, feeling that Id be stronger as an Alpha given James quit on us. However, not everyone welcomes the idea of Katherine being both our mate.
