• Katherine was in heat, yet, I was surrounded by idiots.
• James paced around the room while Michael tapped his foot on the floor impatietnly. How could either of us take care of this? We needed Katherine to pick a mate, but she was too weak. Too out of it. If anything, she’d pick us all just to get that heat cooled off. She wasn’t in the right state of mind. It’s our job as her mates to help quench her desires.
