• It's very easy for them to say that she is beyond salvation, but I can't think the same way, not now that I know her story, our story, now that I know how the events unfolded, how Richard and Stuart can't see that the only criminal minds in all of this are our parents, they are the ones who decided to ruin our lives in one way or another, if they had never given her away, we would have grown up together, maybe she would despise me for being her sister and because that's what our parents wanted, but at least we would be together.
• I can't allow them to decide on her life when that decision is only mine and I have decided to give her a chance, I'm sure that being together she can change, we may never forget what happened, but we can overcome it and move forward, that's what life is about, not just pushing people aside without giving them a chance to redeem themselves. I don't care if Richard supports me or not, I refuse to be left without a family again, it's the only thing I have left because I'm clear that my parents will never truly be family, they don't deserve forgiveness or compassion, they are miserable and despicable beings.
