• It has been two days since Richard was taken off sedation, and he still hasn’t reacted. The doctor says it’s normal, and he needs to do it at his own pace. Thanks to Mrs. Clara’s help, I was able to rest enough, although it weighed on me to leave so many responsibilities on her shoulders. Now she is in the apartment; I have to order her to go rest, as she intended to stay here taking care of both Mr. Mobasseri and me.
• “Wake up soon, Mr. Mobasseri; someone is suffering because you’re still asleep,” I start talking to my sleeping husband. “Although I don’t really understand the affection she has for you, maybe she’s the only person in the world who has managed to break through the thick ice around you. Well, I confess that in my opinion, the ice is inside you, in your chest to be exact,” I fall back into my habit of blaming him for all my misfortunes. “I can’t deny that in some way, in your own way, you were charitable to me, and that shows that you are an excellent man, but not for me.
