Chapter 59
- Stuart
- I walk towards the room where we have confined Claudia's sister. Personally, I would have locked her in the basement with the rats like she deserves, but I understand the point of the others in saying that, in a way, she is also a victim and only acted the way she learned. I partly share that idea, however, we can always choose, especially when we go through similar situations to what she experienced. If life gave her a chance to escape that life of degradation, why didn't she just take it and do something better with her existence?
- Anyway, I bring her breakfast so she doesn't say we are starving her, although she can't really complain. She has a comfortable bed, a bathroom at her disposal, clothes to change into, and food. She is only deprived of her freedom, and that's already a lot. A bullet in the middle of her forehead would suit her much better. I try to be empathetic, but after discovering so many things about her, I can't help but despise her. Seeing her as the hideous monster she is, I can't even feel pity for her misery.
