Chapter 66

It all happened in the blink of an eye. I didn't know how Caleb managed to do everything by himself in such a very short time. I wondered how he was able to complete the necessary documents. Everything went smoothly. It was like he was expecting me to change my mind after a few days because he had planned everything impeccably. I was in two minds whether I should ask him about what I had been thinking or not. I wasn't comfortable though. It made me feel like he knew well how crazy I was about him. I just wished that the feeling was mutual.
He had someone bring a white dress and silver pair of high heels which were my size to my surprise. He made a last-minute call to Paula and Lovie and as I expected, they were more than willing to be witnesses. On his side, a friend of his, named Michael came with his fiancee, Coleen. They became witnesses too.
When someone behind beside me uttered my name, I went back to the present. I then realized that it was Paula. Unfortunately, I spaced out. I shook my head and saw Caleb's handsome face clearly after a while. His lips were a thin line and his eyes were steely/ We were facing each other. I was probably looking at him but I didn't really see him because of my deep thoughts. I blinked twice and tried to remember what just happened.
