Chapter 59

• I didn't sleep a wink. I checked the time and it was almost 9 a.m. I haven't heard anything from Caleb. I was holding my phone almost all night. I didn't want to call him nor message him. I was missing him badly but I was afraid to know whether he would answer or not. I was feeling more paranoid because of my thoughts. Either way was making me nervous. Just when I was beginning to at least be more than civil to Parker, he did that interview which opened a can of worms.
• I rubbed my eyes and finally decided to get up. I would meet Christian before lunch to deal with work. But I had a sudden thought that much as I didn't wish to see my ex just yet, I had to talk to him before I meet my cousin later. Caleb didn’t want me to have any contact with him but I wanted to tell a lot of things straight on Parker's face. But since he had an amnesia, I would have to think of the most appropriate words to say to him. It was so frustrating that he caused the problem but I had to still be considerate of his medical condition. I would just think of what to say or do once Caleb found out I had seen my ex once I was done talking to him.
