• His father stood up while my mouth almost hung open from shock. From my peripheral view, I saw Christian's head moved to my direction. I was positive that his facial expression was also very surprised. But before I could say anything, Caleb was already standing next to me as his dad extended his hand to my cousin. They were on my right side. I raised my eyes to my now boyfriend and he smiled at me intimately like we were sharing a secret.
• "Let me give my future daughter-in-law a hug," I heard his father said.
• With a grunt, Caleb hesitantly left my side to give way to his dad. I turned to the older Mr. Hernandez who opened his arms to me. He was almost as tall as his son. Shyly, I let him hug me. His embrace was really fatherly which made me tightened my arms around him. I even leaned the side of my face on his chest. I suddenly missed my own father.
