• Then I heard a ragged breathing. It seemed like Caleb was holding the phone to his ear as Parker repeatedly called my name over and over again in the background. He was obviously blind drunk. The the phone slid from my hand onto my lap. I was breathing through my mouth as I had my right hand on my chest. Caleb's silent range was cutting my heart.
• "Are you okay Camille?"
• Paula's voice sounded far away. Caleb's angry breathing was so clear in my ear. Finally the unfortunate events that had been happening the past few days took its toll. I found myself sobbing while my palms were on my face. I didn't even notice that Paula pulled over.
