• "There you go. Now I hope all is clear," Caleb said to me with satisfaction.
• He even had a smug smile which I was dying to see disappear from his handsome face. There were so many things I would like to tell at his face but I was hesitant. I didn't feel comfortable because Ava was here. The quietness which enveloped the living room was a little awkward. I was grateful when Ava broke the silence.
• "Umm, I better leave then so you two can talk. I served my purpose already," she announced with a small smile.
