Chapter 53

• I slowly turned while my eyes were still on the floor. Caleb's hand went to my lower back which I liked. It meant that he wasn't planning to hide our relationship to Bella.
• "Bella this is Camilla my girlfriend. Babe, Bella is a family friend."
• I raised my eyes to look at her and readied a smile but I stopped upon seeing her face. She was pretty. She had a light colored hair which was at the moment tied in a high ponytail. Her skin was glowing which showed that she had gotten back from a holiday under the sun. She was as tall as me. Her prettiness was spoiled by the hard glint in her eyes. She was looking at me with hostility which I could sense though she was sporting a small smile. Her eyes went from my face down to my feet and went up again. I balled my hands which were on my sides. I didn't release a smile nor nodded as an acknowledgement. I returned the stare but mine was less unfriendly.
