• As the chandelier above her head shone faintly, Lauren kept walking along the corridor on her own. Lowering her head, she raised her hand and tucked her hair behind her ear. Just then, a door suddenly flung open, and before she could understand what was going, she was lugged into the room. After a loud slam, she was engulfed in the shadow of a towering man.
• “You had stayed in the room with Axel for one hour, thirty minutes, and fifty-eight seconds. What did the two of you do?” Ethan questioned coldly as he glared at her.
• Seeing him, Lauren sneered and stared back at him with her glacial eyes. “What do you think a man and a woman could do in a room? So what if we made love?
